Inclusivity Statement

Our Commitment to Inclusive Futsal

At Crusaders, we believe futsal’s true strength lies in its diversity. In harmony with Football Queensland’s “Football… united. The game of choice, for all, for life.” vision, we are unwavering in our commitment to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where anyone—regardless of age, gender, ability, culture, or background—can thrive.

Gender Equity & Empowerment
We champion gender balance and actively support the pathway for women and girls in playing, officiating, coaching, and leadership roles—embracing and moving past Football Queensland’s goal of reaching 50:50 gender parity by 2027

Accessibility for All Abilities
We’re proud to foster inclusivity for players of all abilities, including those with physical, sensory, or intellectual disabilities—mirroring FQ’s support of Para-Football, offering opportunities to athletes with disabilities and the inclusive Sports Days

Cultural & Community Inclusion
Our door is open to every culture, heritage, and spoken language. We celebrate diversity through multicultural programs and initiatives. We strive to offer to futsal to everyone in our community where the connection and empowerment for each other grows.

Inclusive Club Culture
We commit to continuous improvement—implementing resources, training, and education that empower our members and club administrators to foster a welcoming culture for all, especially women, girls, and underrepresented groups.
